With summer all around us, it comes as no surprise that some of us like to spice up their Moscow mule with some freshly picked berries. The good news? Berries and Moscow mule go hand in hand. Literally nothing in the world tastes better than vodka and berries. If you’ve never had the chance to try that, then today is your lucky day.

Today, we will be teaching you how to make a Moscow mule with fresh berries. But before, let’s take a look at the list of ingredients that you will need:

1/2 ounce of  lime juice (preferably freshly squeezed)

A few handfuls of fresh berries

2 ounces of vodka

3 ounces of ginger beer

Soda water

Ice cubes

Keep in mind that the berries can be anything you want them to be. Strawberries, blackberries, raspberries… as long as they end in “berry” you can add them! (And as long as they are ripe, of course.)

To make a Moscow mule with berries, simply muddle the berries with the lime juice. Divide the mixture between cocktail glasses that have been previously chilled. Add in the ice cubes, the vodka and the ginger beer, and top with soda water. If needed, add in a teaspoon or two of sugar to give the drink an ever sweeter taste. Garnish wit a few fresh berries and enjoy!
