Let’s be honest: When you think of a martini, chances are that you don’t think of a spicy martini. But here’s the thing — this classic cocktail is incredibly versatile. What that means is that you can add almost (almost) anything to it and you can still expect it to taste good. Some of our favorite variations include ingredients that people would never think of mixing with vodka. The results? Nothing like you would expect them to be.

Today, we are going to teach you how to make a martini with Tabasco sauce. This spicy recipe is ideal for those seeking to add a small kick to classic drink. But before teaching you how to make this martini, let’s take a quick look at the list of ingredients that you will need:

5 oz of gin
1 oz of vermouth
15 drops of Tabasco sauce

Yep, you read that right! Only three ingredients are needed to make this martini. Just remember, however, that a martini is shaken, not stirred. As a result, make sure that you have a cocktail shaker lying somewhere around your house before attempting to make this recipe. Once you have gathered all the necessary ingredients and tools, simply combine the gin and the vermouth in a cocktail shaker filled with ice. Shake until the exterior of the shaker has started to frost over and pour in a martini glass. Add 15 drops of Tabasco sauce and stir for a few seconds. Serve and enjoy!

Happy and safe drinking from the Minhas Distillery!
