Martinis are awesome. They are awesome with blackberries, awesome with strawberries, awesome with champagne and awesome with… oranges. The point is that the martini is not only a classic drink — it’s also one of the most versatile ones. Almost anything can mix with vodka. Caramel, apple juice, chocolate… you name it!

Today, we will be teaching you how to make a martini with orange. For the adventurous among us (or the ones tired of drinking normal martinis) this recipe is well worth a look into. But before teaching you how to make it, let’s first take a look at the list of ingredients that you will need:

1/2 cup of lemon vodka

1 tablespoon of orange liqueur

1/2 cups of chilled champagne

4 slices of orange

Looks simple, no? That’s because it is. :)

To make a martini with orange, make sure that you have a cocktail shaker laying somewhere around your house. If you don’t have one, you can always resort to buying one online — trust us, it will be quite useful down the road.

Begin by pouring the lemon vodka and the orange liqueur in the cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, either whole or crushed. Top it off with champagne. Shake everything until the ingredients have started to blend together — usually no more than 30 seconds. Strain the martini into a martini glass that has been previously chilled, garnish with orange slices and enjoy.
