If you’re anything like us, then you love experimenting with recipes. What other people might think of as “strange”, you love to try at least once. After all, there are simply too many variations of the classic martini for you not to try something different every now and then.
Today, we are going to teach you one of our favorite variations of this beloved drink. This recipe only requires four ingredients, but don’t let its apparent simplicity bother you. It’s delicious and simple to prepare… two things that rank fairly high on our list of priorities, and probably high on yours as well.
Today we are going to teach you how to make a martini with grenadine syrup. But before doing that let’s take a quick look at the list of ingredients that you will need:
1 ounce of coconut rum
3/4 ounce of vodka
1 ounce of pineapple juice
1 dash of grenadine syrup
First of all, remember that a martini is shaken, not stirred. As a result you will need to buy a cocktail shaker if you do not currently own one. Once you have gathered all the tools and ingredients necessary to prepare this recipe, begin by pouring the coconut rum, the vodka and the pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake until the exterior of the shaker has started to frost over — usually for no longer than 30 seconds. Proceed to pour the mixture in a martini glass that has been previously chilled. Top with grenadine syrup, serve and enjoy!
