Some say that ginger is an acquired taste, and it shows that these people have never tasted a ginger martini. Though plenty of ginger martini recipes can be found online, we think that it is best enjoyed with pears. This is why today we will be teaching you how to make a martini with ginger and pears. This deadly combination is perfect all year-round, but with Christmas just around the corner can you really resist the temptation?
Before teaching you how to make this recipe, let’s take a look at the list of ingredients that you will need:
Note: This recipe makes 1 serving.
4 parts pear vodka
3 parts simple syrup
2 parts lemon juice
2 pieces of ginger for garnish
To make a martini with fresh ginger and pears, make sure that you have a cocktail shaker lying somewhere around your house. Remember that a martini is shaken… not stirred. When you have gathered all the necessary ingredients, simply combine the vodka, the simple syrup and the lemon juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake until the exterior of the shaker has started to frost over and pour in a martini glass that has been previously chilled. Garnish with 2 pieces of fresh ginger, and if needed, add in a teaspoon or two of sugar to sweeten the deal. Enjoy!
