Do you like your martinis smooth and fruity? We certainly do.
This is why today we are going to teach you how to make a martini with cranberries. In this particular recipe, the cranberry juice mixes with the liquor wonderfully well. But before teaching you how to make this martini variation, let’s take a quick look at the list of ingredients that you will need:
1 (1.5 ounce) of vodka
1/2 ounce of orange liqueur
1/2 ounce of dry vermouth
2 (1.5 ounce) of cranberry juice
1 cup of ice
A handful of cranberries
Note: This recipe makes 2 servings.
To make a martini with cranberries, make sure that you own a cocktail shaker. For the best results, a martini is shaken, not stirred. If you don’t currently own a cocktail shaker, you can buy one online for around $30. Trust us — after a few uses you’ll be wondering how you managed to live with one for so long!
Once you have gathered all the necessary tools and ingredients, begin by combining the vodka, the orange liqueur, the vermouth and the cranberry juice in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes. Shake until the exterior of the shaker has started to frost over — usually for no longer than 30 seconds. Pour into martini glasses that have been previously chilled and garnish with fresh cranberries (optional). Serve and enjoy!
