Meet the hibiscus margarita: This lovely twist on the traditional margarita is perfect if you wish to enjoy a sweet drink while remembering the feeling of sunshine on your skin. Of course it’s better enjoyed with friends but they aren’t mandatory. 😉

Today we will be teaching you how to make a margarita with hibiscus. But before doing this, let’s take a quick look at the list of ingredients that you will need:

3 ounces of chilled Agua de Jamaica
1 1/2 ounces of agave silver tequila
1 ounce of simple syrup
1 lime wedge
Note: This recipe makes 1 serving. To make 2 servings, simply multiply the ingredients by 2.
To make a margarita with hibiscus, pour the Agua de Jamaica, the agave silver tequila and the simple syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, either whole or crushed. If you don’t have a cocktail shaker you can always buy one online for $20-$30. Proceed to shake the mixture until the exterior of the shaker has started to frost over. (Usually it doesn’t take more than 30 seconds for that to happen.)
Pour the margarita into a cocktail glass that has been previously chilled, garnish with a lime wedge (or two) and enjoy!
