Cilantro is one of these herbs that mix well with many things. But what if we told you that cilantro also mixes well with margaritas?
Maybe it’s because margaritas mix well with almost anything… but really, what’s not to love about a margarita with cilantro?
As you have probably figured out by now, today we are going to teach you how to make a margarita with cilantro. But before doing that, let’s take a quick look at the list of ingredients that you will need:
2 ounces of tequila
2 of tablespoons of lime juice, preferably freshly squeezed
1 1/2 of tablespoons of agave syrup
1 1/2 of teaspoons green Chartreuse
5 cilantro leaves
1 pinch of salt
Note: This recipe makes 1 serving. To make 2 servings simply multiply the ingredients by 2.
To make a margarita with cilantro, make sure that you first have a cocktail shaker lying around your house. When you have gathered all the necessary ingredients, combine them in a cocktail shaker and shake until the exterior of the shaker has started to frost over. (30 seconds or so.)
Pour the margarita in a cocktail glass that has been previously chilled and filled with ice cubes using a double-strainer, serve and enjoy!
