Is there such a thing as a person who doesn’t like mango? This exotic fruit is the epitome of sweetness. Whether you eat them raw or dried, in a curry or in a margarita, mangoes have a place everywhere.
Today, we will be teaching you how to make a mango margarita. With the end of summer quickly approaching, making this recipe can take you back to June! But before teaching you how to make this delicious cocktail, let’s first take a look at the ingredients that you will need, mangoes aside:
2 tablespoons of sugar
1 1/2 cups of tequila
2 20-ounce jars of mango chunks, drained
1 1/2 cups triple sec
1/2 cup of granulated sugar
If you are experienced in making margaritas, you can see that this recipe isn’t much different from the traditional one. Simply put the mango chunks into a blender filled with ice cubes. Proceed to pour the triple sec and the tequila in the blender before sprinkling the granulated sugar and the juice of 1 lime on top of the ingredients. Blend everything until smooth. If needed, you may add in some ice cubes to get a better consistency.
In a small plate, squeeze the juice of 1 lime. Add the 2 tablespoons of sugar and mix well for a few seconds. Dip the rims of cocktail glasses that have been previously chilled into the sugary lime mixture, and fill the glasses with mango margaritas. Serve immediately and enjoy!
