Today, we are going to teach you how to make a gin cocktail with club soda. This recipe follows in the footsteps of the other gin cocktail recipes that we have shared with you and is both simple to make and delicious. But before doing teaching you how to make it, let’s take a look at the list of ingredients that you will need:
2 ounces of gin
2 ounces of lemon juice, preferably freshly squeezed
1 ounce of simple syrup
1 dash of bitters
1 cup of ice cubes
1/4 cup of club soda
1 slice lemon for garnish
1 maraschino cherry
Note: This recipe makes 1 serving.
Note: This recipe also requires a cocktail shaker. If you do not presently own one, you can buy one online for $20 or so.
To make a gin cocktail with club soda, combine the gin, the lemon juice, the simple syrup and the dash of bitters in a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes, either whole or crushed. Cover the shaker and shake until the exterior has started to frost over. Usually it does not take longer than 30 seconds for that to happen. When the ingredients have been mixed properly, strained into a glass that has been previously chilled. Top off with cold club soda and garnish with a fresh slice of lemon and maraschino cherry. Serve and enjoy!
